What Is a Warranty Repair?

The store that sold you the equipment is not responsible for the warranty. It is the manufacturer that warranties their products against defect. So, ask yourself, what did the factory do wrong?

We are authorized by these manufacturers to warranty their products: AYP, Briggs & Stratton, Cub Cadet, ECHO, Husqvarna, Kohler Engines, Lawn-Boy, MTD, Poulan/Weed Eater, Toro Consumer Products, Troy-Bilt, Craftsman, and many others.

These manufacturers require that our mechanics attend certification and update schools. When you bring the equipment for evaluation, we use our training and experience to determine if it was a factory defect or if the failure is due to maintenance or accident.

If we cannot determine the cause, we document it and submit it to the manufacturer for their decision. They have the final word, and can override any decision we make about the repair. Defect does not mean you will get a new piece of equipment; it covers the repair to make it serviceable again. There are exceptions for some types of equipment. Read your warranty.

Extended Warranty

If you have purchased an extended warranty it usually does not come into effect until the manufacturer's warranty has expired, and it covers what the original warranty covered.

There are exceptions, but you will need to read your warranty carefully to know for sure. Extended warranties must be registered at the time of purchase and may have restrictions on how to obtain service. They often have a specific service center that must be used or a specific procedure to obtain repair.

It is important to have regular maintenance to keep your equipment performing at its best. We stock customer serviceable parts as well as provide fast, reliable repair and service packages.
